| The name " IMC Brazil" (Institute of Management Consultants Brazil) means IBCO represents ICMCI ( www.icmci.org ) in Brazil. ICMCI is an International Council with headquarters in California, USA, that determines certification standards for consultants. That is why IBCO's certification may be considered an international certification. |

| An analogy may be made by saying that IBCO's certification is for consultants as ISO certification is for industry. |

| To be a member and get certification candidates must comply with the Code of Ethics that may be seen clicking HERE. |

| Candidates are submitted to a thorough examination. They must prove that they have been acting as Management Consultants for at least two years without interruptions and that they perform in accordance with the Code of Ethics, which will be checked through interviews with at least three recent clients. If approved, they are considered IBCO members and Certified Management Consultants. |

| What is a CMC |
CMC (Certified Management Consultant) is a name given to a Management Consultant that has been certified by any of ICMCI’s (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes) National Members, IBCO in Brazil, in accordance with tight international professional performance and conduct standards in Management Consulting, compying with the Code of Ethics.
The name CMC, the corresponding logo and the expression “Certified Management Consultant” are ICMCI’s registered and protected trademarks. |
